-4- ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. Dynamo The ammeter needle flickers continually when charging, and the brushes are audible on occasions. Lucas Under Bonnet Horns Even less notice is taken of these than the outside wind tone horns. We note that the horn circuits are still wired through the ammeter, causing an overload on the instrument when all lamps are on. Horn Button on Steering Column. This frequently blows "soft" when the "load"side is pressed. It also rattles. Screen Wiper Motor. This ceased to function due to the failure of a soldered connection to one brush holder. This has been repaired. Fuel Warning Lamp This is not visible when lit if the sun is strong, particularly with the roof open. This could be improved very easily by providing a green glass with the word "Fuel" in black, in place of the present method of only illuminating the letters. ----------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W.
