Van Vooren body on Bentley chassis. Having heard from Sr, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} what an extraordinarily satisfactory car this was, Mr. Ward of Park Wards has been over to France, has seen and tried this car and examined some of its structural features at Van Vooren's works. I attach copy of his report and we should be glad to have your views. We should especially like to draw your attention to the fact that the body on this chassis is not mounted as recommended by Works and it is on this point that we shall be specially interested to hear what you have to say. There is another point on which we should be glad to have your remarks and that is the one raised in paragraphs 4 and 5 of the attached report, regarding the absence of ironing about the body. We are not proposing to ask Park Wards to put in hand a standard Bentley body similarly constructed until we have received the duplicate Van Vooren body which we have ordered and for which you are sending a chassis across to France on which this can be mounted.
