For the attention of Mr. N. R Chandler. Dear Sirs, We have to acknowledge with many thanks receipt of your letter of the 13th. instant, and in this connection would refer to the visit of our Mr. Armitage and the undersigned to your works yesterday and confirm the arrangements made that Mr. Chandler will visit our works on Friday next, the 17th. inst., at approximately 11 a.m. We are arranging to complete our test rig by the time mentioned above, in order that tests may be carried out on the special Thermoid facings. Referring to the other points discussed with your Messrs. Royce and Chandler, we understand that your order number 48126 calling for 500 10" and 300 11" Thermoid facings only, will be cancelled and replaced by a new order covering quantities of 250 10" and 150 11" complete clutches. In connection with the proposed conversion of approximately 150 each of 10" and 11" driven plates which you already have in stock from either FF.1. or moulded facings to special Thermoid facings, we understand that this matter is receiving your attention and that you will definitely advise us regarding your requirements on these points at an early date.
