-2- Before leaving Sevres this morning we filled the radiator right to the top of the filler. The water temp. being approx. 70°C. Upon arriving at Chateauroux we had just lost 7/8 of a pint of water. Our average speed was 38.53 m.p.h. which shows that the test was severe. A plain radiator cap was fitted. It is therefore very definite that we do not require a radiator cap with the expensive valve fitted. We sent you the results of the temperature tests from Paris. --- We have received your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/AD23.11.32 for which we thank you, and we will endeavour to carry out and give you the reports as soon as possible. G.W.H. DYNAMO. We have taken a curve of the output of the dynamo with lights on, and the output during the day time charge. This is without any resistances in the circuit. G.W.H. | ||
