Dear Sirs, We note from your letter of the 16th instant that the first samples which we supplied have not proved entirely satisfactory, from the point of view of thrust capacity. We would remind you that these were the first samples made, and that an improvement is to be expected in bushes produced subsequently. We have made some ½-doz. bushes, and propose to send these to you after we, ourselves, have carried out preliminary tests. They should be in your hands in a few days. We shall be very interested to hear what results you obtain from both sets of bushes on road test. The shock absorber link ball ends have now come to hand, and there are two points which arise with regard to the proposal of fitting rubber to them.
