Further to BY.2/G.5.5.37, the new switch has been received and was handed to the Experimental Department on the 21st May for the necessary test to be put in hand. In Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E.6.5.37, we note you agreed to the additional charge, and agree with the principle of fitting an improved switch without, however, changing existing switches except where they develop trouble.
