RE SPIRAL BEVELS FOR REAR AXLE
With reference to the five good axles you now have fitted with spiral bevels delivered from America will you please arrange for these to be fitted to Trials Cars. The good axles which these replace can be used for ordinary producátion chasses. It is better to do this than to fit the spiral bevels to Production cars, as under the arrangment now proposed we shall retain them under our observation. Arrangements are being made for a supply of these bevels to be obtained from America, and standardisation will be pressed forward with to be ready by the time the first sets arrive.
