RE CONFERENCE NO: 5. HELD AT CONDUIT ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} BETWEEN TECHNICAL AND SALES DEPTS.
ON SEPT. 11th.

With reference to Minute No: 7 relating to Rear Shock Absorbers, the position is not quite as stated. The Rear Shock Absorbers have not yet passed the experimental stage, and therefore are not ordered for production. Efforts were made some time ago to bring into production at an early date the new type tanks, that is, the type of tank to which the Shock Absorbers may be fitted when ready. The new tanks, we hope, will be fitted to the 75th. chassis. We do not expect the Shock Absorbers to be ready for fitting by the time the 76th. chassis is delivered, but when the new type Shock Absorbers are ready then all chassis after the 75th whether on the road or not delivered can be fitted with this device.
