Instructions for fitting a K.S. Gauge to the petrol tank for a 12-EX Chassis.

FRAMES AND FITTINGS - SECTION 7000. In order to fit K.S. Gauge to Petrol Tank it will be necessary to work to the following L.O.P.- F.79178 LOP. 20 Gallon Petrol Tank, (3 Gallon Reserve and K.S. Gauge). The above L.O.P. embodies the following parts which have been modified under Works' alteration 1091A/F.{Mr Friese}- F.79115 Base for K.S. Telegauge. F.79118 Joint Washer. F.79119 Stiffener for saddle. F.79176 Saddle for K.S. Telegauge. F.79177 - 20 Gallon Petrol Tank. It will be noted that the alteration to F.79177 moves the position of K.S. Gauge and 2 Level Device 3.500 to 4.500 from Centre Line of Chassis, thus bringing the K.S. Gauge nearer to the Baffle. We also forward you one Blue Print of the following detail giving the necessary drilling required in the Rear Crossmember.- F.79431 Rear Crossmember. 1 off. We will send you through an alteration to L.O.P. F.78334 Autovac and Piping adding the necessary Clips etc., required for K.S. Gauge Piping. BY/HEB{H. Biraben} | ||
