(a) .375 lbs. ± 2 oz.
(b) 2.75 lbs. ± 4 oz.
(c) 4.25 lbs. ± 4 oz.

We consider this will be the easiest condition in which to test this item on production, the spring balance we have used is not very satisfactory however.

(4) We should like you to reduce the limits if possible, between the top of the inside exhaust groove and the bottom of the inlet groove in relation to the face locating piston E.72509 in its zero position. This is to conform with the reduction of limits previously carried out on piston E.72503 to enable the length of rod E.72649 to be fixed for all relays.

PISTON MATERIAL.

We require a steel piston with .007" clearance (We handed you one the other day) to demonstrate the actual advantage we obtain from aluminium for this detail with the large clearances we are at present using.

THROTTLE GOVERNOR.

We should like to get the carburetter and controls for this item on engine 1V.EAC.11. as soon as possible.
