Copy EWP{Mr Punt}/22/FAW 28.10.30 From EWP.{Mr Punt} Paris Radiator Cooling Apparatus With reference to your ROY{Sir Henry Royce}1/MG 11.10.30 kindly note that we have been in communication with the A.T Speedometer people over here regarding their system of radiator cooling. Unfortunately they have no printed matter ready yet, as they inform us that their idea was only brought out in August, and is not yet ready to be put on the market. They explain briefly that their system consists of mixing air with the water that passes through the radiator tubes. The writer remembers having seen, during the Show, a section of a radiator fitted on their stand with glass tubes containing a coloured liquid; and bubbles of air were rising up through this liquid; but there was such a crowd round that it was impossible to see much. Apparently the air is pumped through under pressure, and the impression that one got was similar to that of bubbles rising up in soda water. As soon as they have any printed matter ready they have promised to let us know; and when that time arrives, we will obtain what we can for you, and send it on. E.W.P ENCLOSURE No 644 | ||
