x342 Roux To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/HP.10.9.35. cy- Es. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hdy.{William Hardy} RMC. H/S SpectreCodename for Phantom III - Rear Damper and Roll-Bar connecting rods, etc. To reduce the risk of damage by flying stones, we wish to raise the lower ends of the rear damper and roll bar connecting rods, as shewn on N.Sch. 4607 herewith. At the same time it is proposed to substitute the steering type of ball end for those now in use, as being less liable to damage. The connecting rod tubes are also thickened up, and the anchorage of the rear spring to the axle replaced by one of the Phantom type. It is proposed to get these modifications on the 3rd SpectreCodename for Phantom III for France. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
