RM. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 16/ML) Just received and, confirming telephonic conversation of this afternoon, unfortunately the drawings of actual instrument chassis about which you enquire are not available but the preparation of them would not be a very difficult matter. However, as explained, I recently requested one of our people resident in the States to let us have examples of the latest American car facia/instrument schemes and it so happens that he is at present en route to this country being expected here next week. I will carefully retain these until you are back from your vacation and if you will very kindly advise me of your return I will arrange to bring these specimens along.
