Your Ref. Our Ref. TCS/DR S.W.Grylls Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Grylls, Thanks for your letter to hand this morning, but I am afraid I made a mistake when you were here. What we should supply for this engine would be two 3 carburetters having 1 3/8" throttle bore with 1 1/2" piston. These are the same size as the two carburetters at present fitted to your 25 h.p. model, and three of these should be ample to supply the engine with the necessary fuel. As regards the design of the induction pipe, the design of this appears to be quite satisfactory with the exception that the diameter should be 1 3/8" instead of 1 1/2". Kind regards.
