84566. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lov.{Mr Lovesey}6/MA. 21st July, 1934. J.Marchbank, Esq., 159, Leith Street, Edinburgh. Dear Sir, Re.Patented Carburetter No.18801/34. We thank you for your letter of the 16th instant and your offer to loan us a carburetter for test purposes. We should very much welcome a copy of the patent specification or explanatory drawing of your carburetter as we could then see if any of the special features would be an advantage on either our chassis or aero carburetters. You will appreciate that due to the large amount of experimental work on hand it would be difficult at the moment to carry out tests on your carburetter unless we see from the specification that its features, or any particular feature, would give us certain advantages. Should certain advantage be apparent we should be pleased to give it a test. Thanking you, We are, Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
