HISPANO STEERING DETAILS. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/5/M23.1.24. X.980 X.4214 The right and left-hand turning circles of the Hispano are 49 ft. The locks producing these circles are 38 1/4° - the wheelbase being 145". We measured the angular movement of the pendulum lever and stub axle for 180° movement of the steering wheel, 90° each side the central position. The movement of the pendulum lever was 12 1/2° and that of the stub axle 15 1/4°. We append a sketch giving dimensions of the principal levers.
