To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x20b Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}23/KW.16.6.36. Bentley Brake Judder Experiments. We have tried scheme Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}102 fitted to 1-B-IV and although this looks like a possible fitment (to cars already on the road) for preventing judders, we have bent rods GB.1100 during our test. To prevent a recurrence of this during tests we would like two rods Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}162 making, to-night if possible, so that they can be fitted to 1-B-IV in the morning.
