To BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD. from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} X 4410 X.4410. DISTRIBUTION BOARD FUSES. Reference BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD13/ML12.2.24, instructing up two alternative schemes for the securing of the fuse wire in the fuse holder, to meet EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 's complaint of unsatisfactory fixing of this fuse wire in the present holder. We have received a set of each to these two schemes, and the relative advantages and disadvantages of the two, together with the standard as a third have been independently considered by us, copies of the reports re which will be found attached. The generak opinion is that the nut and bolt type of fuse grip is the most satisfactory. We are, however, putting these two sets of fuse holders on the experimental chassis 6-GII and 7-GII to permit of any snag arising in actual use. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
