X.4384. POSITION OF MOTOR TERMINAL.

In reply to your By17/P20.2.22, we agree that the terminal should be moved up, but we are afraid that if side stiffening flanges are added to the upper half of the crankcase, the position of the terminal cannot be vertical. We can see no objection to twisting the motor round 45° in a clockwise direction, looking at the brush end, which would allow the terminal to be at 45°, and we think this should be done.
