FRONT SUSPENSION SPRINGS - MYTH ------------------------------- The object of this memo is to place on record the leading particulars of the front suspension springs obtained from the Tempered Spring Co. Ltd, for fitting on the first Myth car. The springs are substantially as PL.428 and RG.{Mr Rowledge}2052, with the following exceptions:- Wire dia. 19/32" + 5 instead of .581" Normal load 1215 lbs. instead of 1120 lbs. at specified length. Maximum " 1655 lbs. " " 1529 lbs " " Rate 266 lb/in " " 244 lb/in Material open hearth acid spring steel to British standard specification, the bard being black, hot rolled and coiled hot and tempered either in a lead bath or circulating hot air furnace.
