Dear Professor Finch, Many thanks for your letter of the 22nd. instant. I am so pleased to know that you have successfully carried out the oscillographs on our coils and should be delighted to meet Mr. Mole at our Works any time on Monday. If you will let me know where Mr. Mole will stay over Sunday night I will arrange to pick him up on the Monday morning and take him to the Works. I presume from your letter you will be travelling on the Sunday to Manchester, but I am afraid that I shall not be available, owing to other arrangements, at any time on Sunday. If you make any other plans as the result of this letter, it might be worth while giving me a ring so that we can arrange something mutually over the telephone.
