AC.9 (Die Cast) Bentley Main
Bearings.

The introduction of AC.9 die cast main bearings on Bentley II production was held up until the stock of AC.7. bearings had been used.

It will be remembered that we ran an endurance on AC.9 die cast bearings and though satisfactory, recommended that the first six units should be examined after the production test, to check that the bearings were O.K.

Now that production are again continuing of B.II M series, A.C.9 die cast bearings should be incorporated under the above conditions, i.e. that six units be examined after test for confirmation of the material. It should be understood that we still ahere to the hitemetal rear main bearing.
