1021. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.4/JH. 22nd. July, 1941. Messrs. Park Ward Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, LONDON.N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Emms. Dear Sirs, Thanks you for your letter of July 16th. with reference to Castrol XL. As this is only obtainable in 10 gallon drums I have decided that it is too large a quantity to purchase considering the supply of petrol available is so small. I am trying to find manufacturers of a wire clip that is used for securing door lining boards to all steel doors and I am wondering if you know of any makers other than Car Fasteners of Stapleford, Nottingham. In the past we have used chiefly the type of fastener that I have mentioned, but unfortunately I cannot remember who the manufacturers are and I am wondering if you might be able to help me. Your letter was addressed to me at Blounts Mills, so that it was wandering round for a day or two. I am actually at Clan Foundry Belper. Any time you are writing to me, if your letter is addressed to Rolls-Royce Derby and marked "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG" it will come direct. Yours faithfully, E.A.Green. for ROLLS-ROYCE L' | ||
