Bentley III Chassis.

We attach herewith a list of the design work completed on the Bentley chassis during the last month, and also particulars of design work in hand.

Bentley III chassis is receiving intensive design attention and the front suspension is being dealt with first so that this section may be applied experimentally to an existing chassis in order to obtain advance experience. Designs have already been completed for the R.R. type of brake cam actuation, and we are now applying the full Girling system as an alternative.

Girling Brakes. The full Girling system as rigged up experimentally is being applied to the present standard chassis.

Cylinder Heads. The information obtained during the experimental work on the engine for this year's Ulster T.T. race has been incorporated in a new deturbulated cylinder head with increased inlet port areas. The induction pipe and air silencer to suit this are in hand.

Delco Ignition. Some small amount of design work is necessary to adopt this for production, and this is in hand.

Miscellaneous. A number of further items have been received attention for various reasons as indicated in the detailed list.
