COPY OF LETTER RECEIVED FROM MESSRS. TRINIDAD LEASEHOLDS, LIMITED - DATED 4.10.34.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.
4th October, 1934.

For the attention of Mr. Alvey.

Dear Sirs,

We have pleasure in confirming Mr. Sturt's call on the 27th of September, and thank you for the kind interview he received.

We are writing to draw your attention to the merits of our Regent Super, which is now definitely unequalled in its class. All the resources of this Company are devoted to the perfection of this British Petrol, and we have been able to achieve an anti-knock value of 76 Octane, which compares favourably with the high anti-knock ratings of the doped spirits. Its outstanding qualities are demonstrated in the ease at which carburation is effected at all engine temperatures. The distillation figures are as follows -

10% Distillation is 54oC.
35% " " 93oC.
65% " " 130oC.
90 " " 169oC.

We think you are already aware that the origin of our supplies is Trinidad, British West Indies, and we are enclosing a Booklet dealing with the producing and refining side of our business, which we trust you may find of interest.

We shall esteem it a favour if you would give us an opportunity of delivering a load of Regent Super for you to test out in any manner you like, and we feel certain that you would find its quality definitely outstanding.

Thanking you in anticipation of your kind consideration, and assuring you of our best attention.

We remain,
Dear Sirs,
Yours faithfully,

TRINIDAD LEASEHOLDS LIMITED.

For the Sales Manager (Midlands Branch).
