To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} & By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Cricklewood, July 2nd.1936. We are sending you four distributor rotors which have failed due to the pin holes in the bakerlite at the top of the spindle. This trouble has suddenly cropped up again, after a lengthy time of trouble free. We would suggest making the section thicker at this point. One of the roads failed after just over 1,000 miles. It will be noted that all the cracks on the inside are one way, which may have something to do with the withdrawal of the mould. HB{C. E. Harcombe}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
