'SS{S. Smith}' ENGINE - LUBRICATION OF OIL PUMP BEARINGS. [Handwritten over title]: X7160 [struck through] X7165 We have had trouble with seizing and scoring of the spindles and bushes of the SS.{S. Smith} oil pump gears. This has been overcome by drilling a hole through the base of each gear pinion and the bush as shewn on appended print V.486. We recommend that this modification be applied to all SS.{S. Smith} pump gears. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
