X. 4383 To EY. from EFC. c. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. Sft.{Mr Swift} for Mr.Brock. EFC5/T9.1.24. X.4383 - GOSHAWK DYNAMO 54-S.5 HARRISON. Answering your Ey5/P27.12.23, this machine (No.184) has now been carefully examined and tested, as suggested in your note, and the results of this are contained in my assistant's report AB.98, copy of which we attach. You will notice from the results recorded that it is not considered that the failure has been due in this instance to disconnection from the battery, but merely to a combination of circumstances, dealt with in the report, by which the output of the machine was caused to be excessive.
