22nd April, 1936.

Messrs. Specialloid Ltd.,
Friern Park,
North Finchley,
LONDON, N.12.

For the attention of Mr. R.E. Scott.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to Mr. Scott's visit to these works on the 21st inst., the writer has now had a talk with Mr. Robotham who has generally confirmed the opinion the writer expressed to Mr. Scott, namely, that we shall not be able to test any pistons for some time as we have a very heavy programme of work for the next few months.

In view of this fact we would advise you not to carry on with any dies for the present, but would rather you got in touch with us in about 6 months' time when no doubt we should be able to give you more attention than we can do at present.

We are despatching the two sets of 3¼ litre pistons to you as requested, which we trust will reach you safely.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
