X.3362 - LIGHTING INSTALLATION AT W.W.

Regarding the above installation, we are anxious to do what we can in the way of assisting you to complete this scheme, but it is very difficult to know what direction to proceed without the necessary collaboration from your end.

There would appear to be in the main, three matters which require some decision. Firstly, a small distributing switchboard, for which I have obtained a quotation and forwarded to Mr. Royce, which I think will meet the case, but I do not care to definitely order this unless I have word that Mr. Royce is agreeable. As regards this swithboard, there is an alternative namely, that of making up the board here with three miniature switches, which are easily obtainable, and with 3 small fuses of a type which no doubt we could obtain from makers of car lighting sets. This I will proceed with at once if I hear to that effect. Secondly, with regard to the large switchboard I have as yet, no really satisfactory notion of what is required. I have been under the impression from your E2/G21118, that you would be sending some sketches for this sometime. Thirdly, there is the question of the battery as mentioned in your E2/G21018, I have recently forwarded quotations for such a battery from three accumulator makers for Mr. Royce's consideration.

Perhaps there is no great urgency in this matter, but I do not wish it to be thought that any apparent inaction on my part is due to disinterestedness in the matter, as I am
Contd.
