Work we should like carrying out on Hancock's Car whilst the Fitter is in France.

The following is the work we should like carrying out on this car whilst the fitter is at Chateauroux :-

(1) Change all exhaust valves to E.84829.

(2) Fit a new piston, liner, inlet and exhaust valves to damaged cylinder; also possibly renew seat.

(3) Fit new gearbox stay.

(4) Re-line the clutch with VM.20 material.

(5) Refit the tail bearing and lubricator to the clutch housing.

(4) & (5) are called for owing to Hancock reporting that he has been continually having clutch slip and is losing quantities of oil from his rear main bearing.

(6) Examine the synchromesh for cause of poor engagement.

(7) Fit N.Sch.4561 to first speed selector.

(8) Cure the oil leaks between the steel pot in the frame.

(9) Cure oil leaks between the bellows and the aluminium cover.

(10) Increase the frame clearance for the top and bottom triangular brackets.

(11) New rear brake differential!
