and back. Car still running very well.

X.3751. Wednesday 28th. This morning on starting up from cold a slight piston knock was noticed when disappeared so quicly I did mot have time to locate it.

[Handwritten annotation: X3441] The ball joints of cross steering tube are just beginning to [Handwritten annotation: X3461] shew signs of wear, also those of the shock absorbers. [Handwritten annotation: X3323 & 3425] Both foot and hand brakes are very good, though while the foot brake is very silent in action the hand brake is not so quiet and makes rather a harsh noise.

[Handwritten annotation: X3612] The noise from rear axle is neither better nor worse and the [Handwritten annotation: X.3532] axle is still retaining oil alright.

[Handwritten annotation: X3727] The radiator is still quite good and shows no signs of aleak.

[Handwritten annotation: X.3538] The power pressure pump is very good.

[Handwritten annotation: X3462] The starter motor has not given the slightest trouble and always starts up the engine from cold quite easily.

[Handwritten annotation: 1163] The diagram [Handwritten correction: diaphragm] of the Klaxon is now badly split and requires renoewing.

The mileage for the week is 607 making the total (since leaving works) 2203.
