PHANTOM 11 SILENCERS.
-------------------

Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} has suggested that instead of the main tube which passes from end to end of the silencer being a fit in the baffles, it should be positively clear to the extent that the hole in the baffle should be 1/8" on diameter larger than the tube which passes through it, the tube would then simply be supported at the front and rear ends.

Will you please alter some blueprints and issue these to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to make up a silencer.

We should decrease the number of holes in the baffle by the area which we have added in making the clearance round the tube.
