To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X719 X8360 X719-a Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG28.4.27. Herewith a sketch of the silent brake stop for the 40/50 HP. foot brake levers on the rear axle. In addition to the stop shewn we should like to try one with a strip of Ferodo only i.e. omitting flexibility behind it which we shew in the sketch. We should be obliged if you could fit the rear brake levers on 12-EX with one of these schemes each. Attached is a piece of Ferodo which we think would be suitable for the job.
