Dear Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}

I have had yesterday the visit of Mr. Homeyer of the "Joseph Lucas Ltd." of London, who is on an inspection visit in Spain.

I told him that I was not at all satisfied with the Lucas lamps of my car as they give a very poor light and yellowish.

We inspected the car at the same time as we did other Rolls-Royce. We found that a big percentage of the trouble was due to insufficient wiring. We made an experiment connecting the batteries direct with the headlamps with a thicker wire and we found a big improvement on the light. He has already discovered this fault on other Rolls-Royce and has decided to write a report to London about it and I promised that I would inform Rolls-Royce at the same time.

Yours ever,
CARLOS.
