K7680 Attached herewith is a report on 16-MY. This car has been returned to N. four times by the customer for noisy valve gear. From our man's conversation with the chauffeur we should say the whole trouble has been intermittent valve sticking. We had a similar complaint to this on Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car B5-GN. We believe it is very possible that the other cars which are complained of have a similar complaint. We do not believe at the moment that altering the position of the camshaft has any influence on this complaint, or that it is in any way affected with camshaft Squawks.
