Dear Sir:-

Re. Induction Systems

[Redacted "COPY" stamp over text]

In continuation of my letter of July 9, Oy2-G9721, I wish to advise that the question of wall gas and re-condensation has been met in the Oakland car, which has a hot spot, by what they call a "re-atomiser" - namely, a venturi inserted in the inlet pipe thus:-

ANNULUS TO COLLECT WALL GAS

Perhaps the effect of such a device would be worth trying at Derby. It is said to give good results on the Oakland.

Yours truly,
