In connection with the above order, since our initial discussion with you we have available plant to enable us to produce the 4.50x16 rim on latest agreed standards, namely, with the 'E' flange height dimension in place of the 'D' flange height with which previous samples have been supplied. We feel that you would wish us to incorporate the latest rim in this order, and we are, therefore, sending you a revised drawing (CDS.1551) showing the general arrangement of this rim, also a detail drawing (RSO.563) of the 4.50x16 'E' rim, and RSO.458 of the 4.50x16 'D' rim which the former replaces. We should appreciate your confirmation that you would be prepared to accept this amendment, as we are holding up this order pending your advice.
