RE BRUSHES FOR "GOSHAWK II". DYNAMO AND MOTOR.
In answer to your Ey3/P30.8.21, we have already obtained a number of sample brushes in different grades of Morganite and Le Carbone for the Goshawk machines, but since that time the brush holder dimensions have been altered and it will be necessary to obtain other brushes.
The grades we think we should obtain specimen brushes of, are for the motor, C.M.3 Morganite only, but for the dynamo we should obtain
E.G.O. Morganite (as recently recommended (by Messrs. Lucas).
C.G.3 Le Carbone.
and Grade X Le Carbone.
I had already arranged with Mr. Robinson that when the drawings are complete, he would let me know and I would instruct the O.O. to obtain a number of sample brushes.
