"R" SERIES MATERIAL.

The only parts which it is necessary to hold up on "R" Series, owing to changes between "P" & "R" are as follows:-

1. 50 sets only of Dynamo, Switchbox and Junction Box should be put in hand at present.

2. Wiring. This is satisfactory for 50 sets, with the exception that the wiring must be suitable for the parallel connections to the different units instead of series.

3. The present improved type of Exide battery.

The following items are all somewhat modified in view of the adoption of:-

a/- The Starting Carburetter.
b/- The Hot Spot Induction System.

1. Exhaust Pipes.
2. Induction Pipes.
3. Carburetter.
4. Controls.
5. Water Connections.
6. Oil Fittings.
7. Engine Undershield.
8. Petrol & Air Piping.

It should be noted that all the information in connection with the above modifications is available on Part List E.21073, which is a list prepared in parallel of parts displaced by the new design and the new parts fitted in place of same to cover the whole of the sections referred to.

In addition to the foregoing, we wish to hold up the Governor and Distributor Drive complete as a unit, as we propose to use the Goshawk Battery Ignition complete.
