| To H1/Mr. Whitehead. Will you please examine the fractured 0.250 dia. ball which we have handed to you to determine whether there is any fault in the material to which the failure could be attributed. The ball is from a 25/30 H.P. steering roller follower produced by Ransome & Marles and run 20 hours on the rig at 1220 lbs. normal to the roller teeth.
