The Wilcox Rich Corporation,

Michigan,
U.S.A.

For the attention of Mr. A.D. Gardner.

Dear Sir,

We thank you for your letter of the 13th. inst.

Owing to recent tests in which cast materials have proved themselves to be insufficiently strong we are now using nothing but forged metals. At the moment, therefore, we do not think it would be worth your while to make us any cylinder liners in X-Alloy.

Referring to our last letter we hope you will send us the shock absorber bushes as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
