Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.5/ET. 14th August 1940. Messrs. TWINING, Pike Lane, NORTHAMPTON. Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 12th instant enclosing rough sketch, we should like to point out the following items for your information: 1. Angle on front wings is constant throughout full length of wing. 2. Horn grill - Front view as shown. A typical section is shown on the enclosed blue print. 3. There are no metal frames to windows other than the ventilation window in the front door, as shown in enclosed print. 4. Panel does not stand proud but is recessed as per print. 5. Angle of front wheels is not correct. They are now to be vertical with a track of 12½" (50" full size) at the front and a wheel track of 12⅞" (51½" full size) at the rear. A tyre and wheel section will be sent to you later on, when this has been definitely established. We also propose to send you sections through the roof, bonnet top, body side and back panel, when these have been laid out full size. A drawing of the radiator with more detail will also follow in due course. Yours faithfully, | ||
