6th. July, 1939.

The Leyland & Birmingham Rubber Co.Ltd.,
LEYLAND.

For the attention of Mr. Gollop.

Dear Sirs,

We are anxious to obtain a moulded rubber pipe to the attached sketch and as this is only a one off job, we naturally do not wish to go to the expense of moulds.

We should be very glad, therefore, if you could let us know whether you can produce two pipes to this drawing ECD.1498 without making any expensive tools.

If so, we should be glad if you would put these in hand, and as soon as we hear from you we will let you have an official order.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
