We attach herewith prints showing the effect of Valve Timing on Power. These were taken on the original Goshawk 1. engine which has separate Camshafts for Inlet and Exhaust.
We have taken up the results of these tests with R.{Sir Henry Royce} and he is going to instruct a Camshaft for experiment with less angle between the cams.
