Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X235 BY/HEB{H. Biraben}17/M.4.2.26. HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER. IN ACCORDANCE WITH "N" SCH:2085. A short time ago you stated that it was difficult to fill this Shock Absorber with Oil, owing to air locks being formed, and we suggested drilling a small hole in the Tower containing the High Pressure Valve. We shall be glad to know if you have now overcome this trouble and also if any modifications are required to our Drawings. A further suggestion we have to offer in this respect is to fit an Enots Lubricator to act as an air release when the Ball is pressed. BY/HEB{H. Biraben} | ||
