Test results for calorstats returned for examination from four different chassis.

With regard to various calorstats which have been returned to us for examination, the following are the results of our tests:- Calorstat ex chassis GRO.28 - defective - fails to operate. " " " GWN.23 - Defective - starts to open 10° low. " " " GRP.38 - Defective - starts to open 4°C late. " " " GHO.25 - correct - opens correctly. These units have been returned by Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/JT. for examination and rectification, with the exception of unit ex chassis GHO.25 which is not defective. In the other three cases, the repairs should definitely be F.O.C. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
