RR 755 REVISED (10H) (DE 444 6-10-26) BM. STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Description of Parts. MODIFIED SIDE STEERING TUBE. SKXIMEX Origin. To improve steering. Experimental Test Report. This modification consists of fitting two balanced springs F.53918 of equal rating. This provides a little friction and also damps out joggles. To be adopted as standard and used retrospectively in cases of complaint. Road Test Report. These springs have been tried by various people and agreed to be an improvement. Fitted XX in a test case and Guy Knowles car and gave satisfaction. Run 10,000 miles in France on 10-G-111. and 5000 miles in England on 11-G-111.
