Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Springing of 43-KR. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E21.10.29 Copy to C. I thought you would be interested to see the attached copy of Mr.Harcombe's report. As mentioned to you on Friday I immediately noticed a very decided improvement in the riding of the car, but up to the present time I have not had an opportunity of using it at high speeds. I notice that Hb.{C. E. Harcombe} mentions that at higher speeds of up to 70 the riding is inferior and gives a feeling of unstableness, and whilst this of course is a disadvantage for people who often go at these speeds, nevertheless it certainly looks as if what was done to the springing and shock absorbers of this car would be of the very greatest help in connection with dealing with springing complaints which we are constantly receiving.
