6139 To Royles c. to H.J.S./A.C. c. to By/RD. c. to KM/RC{R. Childs}/CAP. km/RC.{R. Childs}4/JH./7.7.39. Lucas Car Heater Rheostat Switch. We have just received nine Lucas car-heater rheostat switches, which are supposed to have just come from the makers, having been returned to them to be corrected to our drawings DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}106 and DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}219. On checking the units to these drawings, however, we find that they are still wrong in the following respects. With the rheostat in the correct position i.e. with the terminals at the bottom, the engraving on both the escutcheon plate and the knob is up side down. This might be rectified by either re-engraving the plate and knob, or by altering the positions in which they are located on the spindle. We should be glad if you would arrange for these to be made right. O/N.32444. km/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
